Short bio

In 2015, I graduated from the ENSEIRB-MATMECA engineering school located in Bordeaux, France. I studied Electronics with a major in Image and Signal Processing.

At the end of my engineering cursus, I conducted a 6-month internship at Technicolor R&D (Cesson-Sévigné), under the supervision of Philippe Robert. The goal of the internship was to propose a novel algorithm that analyses the RGB-D stream of a 3D sensor browsing a real scene in order to achieve a probeless and automatic photometric registration (surface material reflectance estimation, light sources characterisation, etc).

Since October 2015, I am a PhD student at Technicolor and Irisa Rennes – Bretagne Atlantique, in the Rainbow team , under the supervision of Eric Marchand (Irisa) and Philippe Robert (Technicolor). My research focuses on Computer Vision and Computer Graphics.

A list of my publications can be found here.

Short bio

In November 2015, I graduated with a Masters degree in Interactions in Complex Systems ; especially dealing with information technologies for autonomous systems in cooperation from the University of Technology of Compiègne (France 2013-2015). Being funded by the European project VERVE, I defended my Masters on Vision-based Global Autonomous Navigation of vehicles in an Urban context.

Earlier in 2012, I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Yaoundé I, Cameroun.

My research

I am currently a Phd student under the supervision of Eric MARCHAND and co-supervision of Vincent DREVELLE, with the RAINBOW team (former LAGADIC),  at INRIA Rennes since October 2015. My research focuses on guaranteed vision-based cooperative localization in robot squads using interval-based set-membership methods.

Research areas :

  • Interval-based set-membership
  • Mobile robotics
  • Cooperative localization
  • Computer Vision
  • 3D Pose Estimation
