Short bio

I got my Master’s degree of control engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, 2017, Shenzhen, China. After that, from 2017.1, I worked at  Huawei Technologies till 2019.8, later on, I started the adventure as a research fellow at IIT, Genova, Italy, advised by Dr. Ferdinando Cannella.

From 2020.3, I moved to Rennes and joined Rainbow Team, as a Ph.D. student, under the supervision of Dr. Paolo Robuffo Giordano and Dr. Claudio Pacchierotti.

My research activities focus on the design, prototyping, testing, and control of wearable haptic devices for applications in human mobility aids.

I’m now (04.2022 ~ 08.2022) visiting Aarhus University, hosted by the Extended Reality and Robotics lab, advised by Francesco Chinello.

I successfully defended my Ph.D. on June 23, 2023, the streaming is available here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkTij_Y27F0

Short bio

After my ingeneering school (IMT Atlantique), I got a HCI master at Paris-Saclay. I went to Rennes to work on facial animation using cage-like methods at InterDigital for my end of study internship.

I am now a PHD in team Rainbow to work on collective, interactive and expressive behaviors modeling for VR.

My PHD subject aims at designing complexe user-centered scenarios in VR with multiple virtual humans. Those humans should behave in a socially realistic manner between themselves and toward the users. They should react according to the user’s actions and be expressive so that the presence of the user improves.

Short bio

I studied mechatronics at the ENS de Rennes from 2015 to 2019, thus graduating mechanics and electronics degrees. In 2018, I obtained the french “agrégation” opening for teaching positions, in engineering industrial sciences, with mechanical engineering option.

I have been a part of the Rainbow team as Ph.D. from september 2019, under the supervision of Paolo Robuffo Giordano and Quentin Delamare, on the thematic of trajectory generation for mobile robotics, with parametric uncertainty considerations.

I also teach at the ENS de Rennes in mechatronics-related fields such as mechanical systems modeling, and in the preparation for the writings/orals of agrégation, in the mechanical engineering option.
