SWADAPT2 – Clinical trials at INSA Rennes – July 2020

Despite the COVID situation, INSA and Pôle Saint Hélier managed to co-organize clinical trials in July 2020 at INSA. The objective was to evaluate the clinical benefit of a driving assistance for people with disabilities experiencing high difficulties while steering a wheelchair. 10 people participated to the trial. We clearly demonstrate the excellent ability of the system to assist users and the relevant usage of such an assistive technology!
