Short bio
Hello! My name is Maxime, I’m an engineer recently graduated in 2020 from ISAE-ENSMA in Poitiers.
After a specialization in embedded computing for aeronautical systems, I first started the research with robotic SLAM (Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) issues at ONERA in Toulouse where I studied the fusion of LiDAR and RGB sensors in order to improve single laser sensor SLAMs, and to add semantics to the constructed maps.
I was then accepted to follow a thesis at Inria in Rennes, in the Rainbow team, on the visual servoing of a satellite constellation, a thesis co-directed by François Chaumette and Eric Marchand. This thesis deals with the application of visual servoing, a very efficient visual tracking approach used in my team, in a space system intended to perform precision terrestrial observation.
