11/09/2017: the paper Real-Time Fair Resource Allocation in Distributed Software Defined Networks, by Zaid Allybokus, Konstantin Avrachenkov, Jérémie Leguay and Lorenzo Maggi, received the Best Paper Award at ITC’29. Congratulations! This is the second year in row that NEO members get awarded at ITC.

19/06/2017: the Indo-French Center for the Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR) has rated the project “Monte-Carlo and Learning Schemes for Network Analytics”, headed by Kostia Avrachenkov on the French side, as Excellent.

26/05/2017: the paper Ontology for a Voice Transcription of OpenStreetMap Data, The Case of Space Apprehension by Visually Impaired Persons, by Said Boularouk, Didier Josselin and Eitan Altman, received the WASET Best Paper Award. The paper was presented at ICOR 2017: 19th International Conference on Operations Research, London, 25-26 May 2017.

27 and 28/02/2017: the MOMI workshop: two members of NEO, Dimitra Politaki and Eleni Vatamidou, participated in its organization. Two former members of our former project MAESTRO, Nicaise Choungmo Fofack and Alexandre Reiffers-Masson, are giving talks.
