Thibaud Toullier

I was a PhD student at Inria (French Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation in Rennes) and IFSTTAR (French institute of science and technology for transport, development and networks in Nantes), under the supervision of Jean Dumoulin and Laurent Mevel. Now, I am postdoc UGE in the team.

Research interests / field of activity

I am working on the simultaneous characterization of objects temperature and radiative properties through multi-spectral infrared thermography. The objective is to develop new methods adapted to next infrared sensors generation for advanced structure monitoring.

Short bio

I received an Engineers degree from « Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Electricité et de Mécanique » (ENSEM) in Nancy, France in Digital System Engineering (2015). After that, I have made a dual diploma to get a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, USA (2016).

I have been working as a research assistant at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech (CEEatGT) for one year to develop new automatic crack pavement detection. This research involved

  • Cluster parallelization (TORQUE resource manager (PBS) & Moab Cluster Scheduler)
  • General Purpose Processing on Graphic Cards (CUDA)
  • Algorithms optimization
