- Fluid-Fluid coupling
The problem of coupling two fluid models is of utmost interest in the modeling of the cardiovascular system. An important class of problems concerns the multi-resolution (or geometrical multi-scale) coupling, namely the 3D-1D or the 3D-0D coupling. The 3D fluid-fluid coupling can be addressed by domain decomposition methods, to the price of many sub-iterations at every time step. We introduce a new approach that basically generalizes the FSI to the case of a fluid-fluid framework.
