I’m working on a C++ master code that allows to couple together an arbitrary number of independent software components modeling compartments of the cardiovascular system. This environment includes various coupling strategies (one-way, loosely coupled two-way, strongly coupled by accelerated fixed-point or Newton algorithms) and protocols (MPI, PVM, files) to facilitate the implementation of message exchanges between the components.
