Mikaël Monet’s defense and mini-workshop

At the occasion of Mikaël Monet’s PhD defense, Valda organizes this Friday October 12:

1. A mini-workshop on database theory, with talks by  Florent Capelli (Université de Lille), Benny Kimelfeld (Technion), and Georg Gottlob (University of Oxford), from 10:00 to 12:00 in room DA001 of the Dareau site of Télécom ParisTech, 37-39 rue Dareau, 75014 Paris.
2. Mikaël Monet’s PhD defense, on the “Combined complexity of probabilistic query evaluation”, at 14:30 in room B312 of the Barrault site of Télécom ParisTech, 46 rue Barrault, 75013 Paris.

These two events are open to all.
