Scientific community
Valda is part of a larger scientific community on data management and related fields, and in particular:
- BDA, the French-speaking community in data management;
- the international research community on Theoretical Foundations of Data Management;
- three GDRs, CNRS thematic groupings of French research units:
- the GDR IM (mathematical computer science) and, in particular, its DAAL working group on Data, Automata, Algebra & Logic;
- the GDR MaDICS on big data, information, knowledge in science;
- the GDR IA on formal and algorithmic aspects of artificial intelligence;
- a community of Inria teams working onData and Knowledge Representation and Processing.
