Vincent Pilorget (co-supervision with A.G. Filippini) : global storm surge models for very long term inundation simulations. PhD started in  January 2023, BRGM and ANR LAGOON

Bastien Jouy (co-supervision with D. Violeau) : section averaged models for (dispersive) bore propagation in channels. PhD started in  November 2021, CIFRE EDF

Aurore Cauquis, PhD defended in November 2022 (co-supervision with P. Heinrich) : high order Lax-Wendroff finite differences for Boussinesq equations. PhD related publications: Water Waves paper

Mirco Ciallella, PhD defended in September 2022 (co-supervision with R. Paciorri and  A. Bonfiglioli) : bridging shock fitting and embedded methods to handle shock waves in hyperbolic systems.  PhD related publications: AIAA J. paperCMAME paperCPC paperJCP paper. Currently: post doctoral researcher at I2M/ENSAM Bordeaux.

Giulia Bellezza, PhD defended in September 2022 (co-supervision with G. Vignoles and G. Couegnat) : multi scale modelling for self-healing composite materials.   PhD related publications:JECS paper. Currently R&D engineer at Astradyne space.

Sixtine Michel, PhD defended in March 2022: linearly stable and well balanced mass matrix free stabilized continuous finite elements for shallow water simulations.  PhD related publications: J.Sci.Comp. paperJ.Sci.Comp. paper2. Currently: project manager at  D-ICE Engineering.

Luca Arpaia, PhD defended in September 2017 (co-supervision with P. Andrea Gilberto Filippini, PhD defended in December 2016 (co-supervision with P. Leo Nouveau, PhD defended in December 2016 (co-supervision with H. Beaugendre and C. Stevan Bellec, PhD defended in October 2016 (co-supervision with M. Colin) : discrete asymptotic modelling of non-hydrostatic free surface flows. PhD related publications:  PhD manuscript, Coast.Eng. paper, SINUM paper. Currently:  professor of classes préparatoires.

Gregory Perrot, PhD defended in December 2015 (co-supervision with G. Stefano D’angelo, PhD defended in March 2015 at VKI/ULB (co-supervision with H. Deconinck) : Adjoint-based error estimation for adaptive Petrov-Galerkin finite element methods with application to inviscid compressible flows.
