I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (Inria) in the Statistical Inference for Structural Health Monitoring (I4S) research team.
Research interests
My research focuses on wave propagation in complex media. I particularly focus on the nonlinear phenomena induced by the connection of periodic waveguides through nonlinear joints. The aim is to develop numerical methods to model these complex systems accurately and efficiently.
Short bio
I started with a Bachelor in Physics at the Universities of Nantes and Cardiff, then pursued with a Masters in Acoustics at Le Mans Université. I continued with a PhD in nonlinear dynamics at LISPEN in Lille in partnership with Valeo Transmission Systems. The aim was to lower the torsional vibrations encountered in thermal and electric vehicles by means of nonlinear vibration absorbers that take the form of pendulums.
