SwfP2Pcloud (2011-2013) with UFRJ and LNCC (Brazil)

The FAPERJ-INRIA project SwfP2Pcloud (Data-centric workflow management in hybrid P2P clouds,
2011-2013) headed by E. Pacitti and P. Valduriez, with UFRJ (Marta Mattoso, Vanessa Braganholo, Alexandre Lima) and LNCC, Rio de Janeiro (Fabio Porto) deals with large scale scientific workflows in hybrid P2P clouds.
In this project, we focus on data-centric workflow management by capitalizing on the well-established principles of distributed data management. The original aspect of our approach is a hybrid P2P cloud architecture that combines P2P for data sharing between participants and cloud for parallel processing and scale up.
