Scaling GraphDB (2010-2011) with UPC (Spain)

The PICASSO project Scaling GraphDB, with UPC, Barcelona ((Josep Lluis Larriba Pey and Victor
Muntes Mulero) dealt with the problems of efficient support of Large Graph Databases (LGD) for network‐centric applications. The technical
objectives were to focus the joint research on the different aspects that define
the area of LGD, including but not limited to data access, query placement and optimization,
algorithms for the performance of specific operations on large datasets, and infrastructure for
caching in large graph management.
