Valda is co-organizing the Spring school on Theoretical Computer Science (EPIT) – Databases, Logic and Automata on April 8-12 at the CIRM in Luminy (near Marseille).
The 2019 edition of the EPIT aims at initiating to foundations of data management. It will in particular focus on the fruitful interaction with two other main areas of theoretical computer science, lying at the boundary with mathematics: logic and automata theory – as well as other closely related areas, such as finite model theory, descriptive complexity, game theory, and inference.
EPIT 2019 is intended to attract an audience from both France and other countries. Courses will be given in English.
