The Dialogues in Games (DinG) corpus contains weakly supervised non-collaborative dialogues in the context of games. The corpus is designed in order to study specific dialogue phenomena in natural language, in particular questions, answers, and incomprehension in dialogue. Our approach is centered on speech turns and question-answer sequences.
The corpus is composed of recordings of 3- or 4-players games of the tabletop game Settlers of Catan or Catan. Instructions to play the game can be found in WikiHow and Ultra Board Games. The game serves as a context where close to no personal information is involved, and as a support for conversation.
