Désolé, cet article est seulement disponible en Anglais Américain.

I am a PhD Candidate at the University of British Columbia with Prof Carlos Ventura under the co-supervision of Michael Döhler at Inria in Rennes.

Research interests / field of activity

My research focuses on the practical aspects of stochastic subspace-based damage detection and localization (SSDDL) for large structural systems. The research objectives target the following points:

  • Minimum detectable damage
  • Minimum localizable damage
  • Optimal sensor placement
  • Non-destructive validation techniques

Short bio

I graduated from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) with a B.Sc. in civil engineering (2013) and a M.Sc. in structural engineering (2016). For practical experience, I conducted a 6-month engineering placement at a bridge design firm. My master thesis on structural dynamics was awarded with the SOFiSTiK industry award. To continue my studies, I received the DAAD stipend in 2017 and commenced a PhD in structural dynamics at the University of British Columbia, Canada. In 2019, I conducted a 5-months research stay at Inria in the scope of the Mitacs research award.

Recent highlights

  • Mitacs Research Award for research in France
