The award was established in the memory of Ibni Oumar Mahamat Saleh to continue his commitment for mathematics in Africa. It aims at honouring young mathematicians from Central and West Africa.
Candidates must hold a PhD in mathematical sciences obtained after January 1, 2016. They must reside in a Central or West Africa eligible country at the time of application.
