An action can be:
- Retrieve the value of a sensor
- Send a value to an actuator
- Start a controller
We’re going now to present the editor that will allow you to create / edit process sequences.
Simply click on “Add” Sequence part then choose “New”, the editor opens and allows you to enter different general information:
- Sequence name
- Description
- Type of trigger for the loop (periodic, manual (trigger via the GUI by the user), or decision by a controller)
- The number of iterations of the desired sequence (it should be noted that they can be interrupted via the GUI in case of emergency or necessity)
- A loop time – if this field is left empty, when the loop is finished, it makes with the following (if the number of iterations is greater than 1), otherwise there is a time delay.
Notice
You can define an access to your sensors / actuators used in the sequence limitation. There are 3 levels of access restriction:- None: they are always accessible to other operator (controller, classic cycle)
- Limited: they are accessible only when the sequence is in the delay phase (between the last action and the end of the loop)
- Full: inaccessible until the sequence is not stopped (which is possible only for sequence Periodical type)
Warning!
The access restrictions do not apply between sequences. You must be careful to avoid sequences that use the same actuators!Action Sensor
Action Actuator
Allows you to send an order to an actuator at a given time.
Optional: send a second value (considered as the end of this action)
Action Controller
Notice
In general, it is necessary to define a stop condition in the controller or it will run indefinitely .This controller does not appear in the list of controllers GUI for sequence-specific . It is therefore unnecessary to set control parameters for these controllers, they will not be accessible.
Warning!
While this controller is active, it will not be restarted even if the sequence requests it (there is only one instance of a controller that turns at the same time)Important!
All sensors and actuators controller suffer the rules of access limitation. If limited access : They are released only when the controller is stopped (stop defined in the controller or by the user via the GUI of the sequence)
