PhD student at the Université Grenoble Alpes, within the Inria AIRSEA team of the Laboratoire Jean Kuntzmann, I am doing my thesis in collaboration with IFPEN, in the field of statistics and more specifically on the theme of meta-modeling by Gaussian processes in the context of stochastic inversion, with application to the design of floating wind turbines.
Summary:
Nowadays, many model inversion problems (e.g. calculation codes) are present in the industry. These problems are defined by finding a set of parameters such that a certain amount of interest respects a given constraint, for example remains below a threshold. In the field of floating wind turbines, a pre-calibration step consists of estimating model parameters such that a given quantity accurately corresponds to the measured data (e.g. accelerations).
