ATER – Université Grenoble Alpes – LJK – Inria AIRSEA team
I am currently a temporary teaching and research Associate (ATER) at Université Grenoble Alpes, in the AIRSEA team of the Jean Kuntzmann laboratory. In collaboration with IFP Énergies Nouvelles, I defended my thesis at Grenoble Alpes University on November 21, 2024. This work, carried out in statistics, concerned the estimation of excursion sets using Gaussian processes, with an application to the calibration of simulators for costly calculations in the wind energy field. Passionate about teaching, I have had the opportunity, along the way, to give lectures and tutorials at university as well as in several engineering schools, an activity I continue to pursue with enthusiasm as an ATER.
Summary:
Nowadays, many model inversion problems (e.g. calculation codes) are present in the industry. These problems are defined by finding a set of parameters such that a certain amount of interest respects a given constraint, for example remains below a threshold. In the field of floating wind turbines, a pre-calibration step consists of estimating model parameters such that a given quantity accurately corresponds to the measured data (e.g. accelerations).
