July 2023: Our partners at QUT organized a workshop on Sequential Monte-Carlo Methods, Brisbane, Australia. L. South, H. D. Nguyen, M. O’Sullivan, R. Kelly, J. Iollo and F. Forbes attended the workshop and gave talks.
July 2024: J. Arbel is organizing a session on Bayesian optimization at ISBA World Meeting 2024, with H.D. Nguyen and F. Forbes in Venice Italy.
Highlights 2023
• F. Forbes, HD Nguyen and G. Fort have been awarded an Australian Research Council project 2023-26.
• J. Iollo received the best presentation award at the workshop on Sequential Monte-Carlo Methods in Brisbane, Australia.
• J. Iollo was invited to give a contributed talk at the autumn school in Bayesian Statistics at CIRM, France.
• TT. Nguyen and H. Nguyen got a long oral presentation at AJCAI conference in Brisbane, Nov. 2023
• TT. Nguyen has started a new post-doc position at UQ in Brisbane, in December 2023.
