The association Ile de Science Paris-Saclay organizes, in collab. with IRT SystemX, Centrale Supélec, Inria. EDF and Credit Agricole , a Symposium to discover and learn more about digital twins. Keynote speakers, round tables, industrial representatives, engineers, Post-docts and PhD students will present their views and last research on this topic. It will be taking place on the 9th of February at Centralesupélec.
In a nutshell, a short presentation of this Symposium:
The availability of data and technology opens up great opportunities in the global and local management of complex systems, thanks in particular to digital twins. The use of digital twins increases the analysis capabilities of complex systems and their management throughout their life cycles.
From the digital twin of a mechanical part to the digital twin of space, are we talking about the same concepts? What are the issues and challenges associated with their use? What opportunities do they offer?
This conference aims to explore the concept of digital twin in its diversity, its scientific challenges as well as the associated societal and industrial issues.
