I worked as research engineer at Inria Grenoble Rhône-Alpes, Robotlearn Team from 2020 to June 2022. I worked on the SPRING EU project and specialize in Deep Learning, Computer Vision and Audio Processing with applications to social robots.

Short Bio
Luis Gomez Camara obtained his PhD (2007, London) in Computational Chemistry from Imperial College, an MSc. (2006, London) in Digital Signal Processing from Queen Mary University and an MSc. (2016, Madrid) in Computer Vision from Rey Juan Carlos University.
He has worked in the area of audio processing and automatic music recognition for more than 6 years and as a research engineer in computer vision at Airbus in Germany for more than 2.
From 2018 to 2020, he held a full-time research position in the IMR lab at CIIRC (Czech Technical University). His main research activities focused on life-long autonomy of mobile robots, visual place recognition and deep neural networks.
He joined Inria’s Perception Team in September 2020.
