The MICROCOSME project-team at the Centre Inria de l’Université de Grenoble Alpes and the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire de Physique (LIPhy, CNRS/UGA) currently has four open PhD positions for projects at the interface of mathematical biology, bioinformatics, and microbiology:
- Development and validation of small-scale models of bacterial growth and bioproduction, PEPR B-BEST project MuSiHC;
- Stochastic modelling of dynamical resource allocation and analysis of single-cell data, ANR JCJC project ARBOREAL;
- Computational analysis of mRNA degradation, ANR project RECOM;
- Real-time control of aroma synthesis in oenological fermentation, ANR project DigitWine.
The projects are expected to start in Fall 2025. Please follow the links to obtain further information on the PhD projects and on how to apply.
