Biography:

During the academic year of 2009/2010, I was involved in a dual diploma program at the end of which I obtained my telecommunication and programming Engineering diploma from the faculty of engineering in the Lebanese University, and my M.Sc. degree in Signal, Image, Embedded System and automatic (SISEA) in Telecom Bretagne, Brest-France. I prepared my Ph.D. with the CEA-Leti and the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. My research topics aim at exploring new Wireless Body Area Networks (WBAN) cooperative localization mechanisms. Following multidisciplinary approach, i addressed contributions related to physical modeling of the ranging accuracy that is delivered by the involved radiolocation metrics, such as the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) in Narrow Band (NB) and the estimated Time Of Arrival (TOA) using the Impulse Radio-Ultra Wideband (IR-UWB) technology. Another contributions concerned algorithmic and crosslayer design (e.g. cooperative localization and tracking algorithms under realistic protocol constraints, links selection and scheduling). A few more practical aspects have also been dealt with field experiments.. I received my degree by the end of November 2013. From November 2013 till March 2015, i was a research engineer at Telecom ParisTech in the Laboratory of Information, Networking and Communication Sciences (LINCS). My work was addressing the problem of large-scale navigation in cooperative groups of Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs). Herein, a new contribution has been investigated for navigation purposes. Cooperative on-body and body-to-body wireless links, respectively in intra-WBAN and inter-WBAN mesh topologies, are thus used to complement off-body links with respect to external elements of infrastructure, set as fixed anchors. Between 2015 and 2020, I was an assistant professor at the faculty of engineering (Computer Department) of the Arts, Sciences, and Technology university in Lebanon (AUL). Currently, i am an assistant professor at the the CITI laboratory of INSA Lyon, where my research and education works are almost in the context of Wireless networks and IoT.
