Benjamin LEFAUDEUX

Benjamin Lefaudeux was born in 1985. He graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique in 2008, specialising in Applied Mathematics and Physics, after a MSc in Optics and Photonics at Imperial College, London. After an internship at Telecom Paristech, in the field of quantum cryptography, he went to DxO Labs, working on imaging sensors modelling. He then worked for nearly two years for IXSEA, a positioning company best known for its photonic IMUs and underwater positioning systems, in which he worked on a submarine SLAM algorithm. He started his PhD studies in late 2010, working on real-time perception of a dynamic environment, using laser and stereo-vision cameras.
