DRIVing implementation and Evaluation of C2X communication technology in Europe
Project description
DRIVE C2X will carry out comprehensive assessment of cooperative systems through extensive European Field Operationnal Tests.
In principle, two different application areas feature cooperative driving :
- C2C : car to car communication where vehicles exchange information on safety-relevant or other useful information.
- C2I : car to infrastructure where vehicles are exchanging information with backend systems like traffic lights or road operators
