DatLuge (2009-2011) with UFRJ, LNCC and UFPR (Brazil)

The CNPq-INRIA project DatLuge (Data & Task Management in Large Scale) with UFRJ (Marta
Mattoso, Vanessa Braganholo, Alexandre Lima), LNCC, Rio de Janeiro (Fabio Porto), and UFPR,
Curitiba (Eduardo Almeida) dealt with large scale scientifc workflows in the context of Scientific Workflow Management Systems (SWfMS).
The main objective of the project was the development of enabling technologies to manage the life cycle of large scale scientific experiments. We contributed to this objective by integrating SWfMS with services that support the stages of execution and analysis of the experiment with emphasis on HPC environments.
