April 2014, the paper “Pay Few, Influcence Most: Online Myopic Network Covering” coauthored by Thanes researchers K. Avrachenkov, G. Neglia and B. Ribeiro together with P. Basu (BBN Technologies) and D. Towsley (UMass Amherst) got the Best Paper Award at the IEEE Infocom workshop on Network Science for Communication Networks (NetSciCom).
