CAR support both Kinect and ASUS Xtion. To use a Kinect instead of a ASUS sensor, you need to get the Kinect driver (see openni-kinect) on our website rpm-archives for OpenNI. You can follow the steps below :
1. Remove the previous Asus driver :
yum remove openni-primesense
2. Then, install the Kinect driver :
yum install http://www-sop.inria.fr/stars/car-component/rpm-archives/openni/openni-kinect-5.1.2.1-1.fc19.x86_64.rpm
3. Plug your Kinect, and use NiViewer, you should receive a stream from the sensor.
