The RandOpt Team @ Inria

The RandOpt team at Inria's Saclay - Ile-de-France research center, joint team with the CMAP at Ecole Polytechnique, deals with the analysis, development and implementation of randomized blackbox optimization methods in the continuous domain. We are in particular focusing on CMA-ES type methods and are interested in benchmarking.
Our work covers all types of blackbox optimization scenarios such as unconstrained and constrained optimization, single- and multiobjective optimization, and medium and large-scale optimization with topics ranging from theory over algorithm design to real-world applications.
New PhD student
We welcome our new PhD student, Tristan Marty!
