Research interests / field of activity

My research is focused on nonlinear dynamics for various real-world applications, aiming to improve the understanding of the dynamic behaviour of nonlinear structures by integrating the uncertainties present in the models or optimising them. I develop methods that ensure the numerical feasibility of real-world problems (automotive, aerospace, wind turbine etc).

  • Structural dynamics and non-linear vibrations
  • Contact, friction and friction-induced vibrations
  • Uncertainty propagation and quantification for large-scale nonlinear structures
  • Surrogate modelling
  • Global optimisation
  • Topology optimisation and 3D-printing

Research and publication details can be found here.

I am open to accept PhD students, postdocs, master students and visiting students. Feel free to contact me for more details about ongoing opportunities and potential fundings.

Short bio

I received an Engineering degree from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon in 2015, and an MSc in Mechanics and Structural Dynamics in parallel. In 2018, I was awarded a PhD from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon in Mechanical Engineering. During the 2015-2018 period, I have worked in close collaboration with the PSA group (Peugeot-Citroën).

After a postdoc in the VUTC team at Imperial College London in 2019 and 2020, working in close collaboration with Rolls-Royce, I have joined the Inria I4S team as a research scientist in October 2020.

My PhD received the CSMA PhD award 2018 from the French association CSMA (Computational Structural Mechanics Association) and the Centrale Innovation PhD award 2019 from the French Engineering schools Ecole Centrale of Lyon, Ecole Centrale of Nantes and Ecole Centrale of Marseille.
