On October 5, Kary Ocaña presented the “Experiences in Executing Data-Intensive Bioinformatics Experiments in the Santos Dumont Supercomputer” abstract at the BioCARLA workshop (held within the CARLA Latin-American conference). During this talk, she presented preliminary results of the ongoing study of the I/O behavior of the applications from the BioInfo Portal, which allows users to submit bioinformatic tasks to be executed on the Santos Dumont machine.
