Schools

School ENUMEX ( ADdressing DIfficult problems in a Computationally Tractable fashION). September 23-28, 2012. University Residential Center, Bertinoro (Forlì-Cesena), Italy

School ADDICTION (Enumeration Algorithms & Exact Methods For Exponential Problems in Computational Biology). November 16-21, 2014. Olissipo Marquês de Sá Hotel, Lisbon, Portugal

Seminars and assimilated

Seminar Algorithmics and Biology: Seventeen series from Dec. 1997 to June 2007 as sole organiser, supported by Inria Rhône-Alpes (projet HELIX) and Laboratoire de Biométrie et Biologie Évolutive (Univ. Claude Bernard, Lyon I), financed by IMPG from September 2001 to September 2004 and by ACI ImpBio from December 2004 to June 2007. Links to all seventeen series may be found at this address. Each series lasted 2 to 3 days, the whole day, and involved between 10 and 15 invited speakers initially more from France and Europe, and then gradually from all over the world.

Three meetings / workshops at University of Bologna Residential Center, Bertinoro: in 2004, Second Bertinoro Computational Biology; in 2005, Biological Networks: Interaction with Genome and Developmental Evolution ; and in 2006, Biological Networks III: Modularity and Genome Evolution. The three meetings / workshops were co-organised with Dannie Durand (Carnegie Mellon University) and Anna Tramontano (who was at the time at Sapienza University of Rome. Anna died unexpectedly in March 2017). They were partially funded by the University of Bologna Residential Center.

Colloquium EMOTIONS 2014 . December 10-11, 2014. Lyon, France

Dagstuhl Seminar on Algorithmic Enumeration: Output-sensitive, Input-Sensitive, Parameterized, Approximative, co-organised with Henning Fernau (Universität Trier, Germany), Petr A. Golovach (University of Bergen, Norway), and Dieter Kratsch (University of Lorraine, Metz, France). October 14-19, 2018, Dagstuhl Schloss, Germany
