The Outstanding Paper Award aims at recognizing outstanding scientific work and clinical applications that are presented at the workshop. Each of the 35 paper submitted to the workshop was reviewed by the Scientific Review Committee and was scored on a scale of 1-10. Those papers that earned an average score of 1-3 were considered for the award. Two papers remained as the finalists. The Awards Committee, which consisted of three members from the Workshop Committee, selected the awarding paper among the finalists based on overall scientific merit and clinical innovation of the paper.
