Tom Vercauteren received MICCAI 2013 “Young Scientist Publication Impact Award” for his article MICCAI 2008 entitled “Symmetric log-domain diffeomorphic Registration: a demons-based approach”, co-authored with Xavier Pennec, Aymeric Perchant and Nicholas Ayache. This award recognizes an article in MICCAI under 5 years which had a very strong impact on the scientific community (large number of citations in particular).
