Bernard Tamba Sandouno

I am PhD candidate since May 2021 in the DIANA research team at Inria and YDATA under the supervision of Yamen Alsaba, Chadi Barakat, Walid Dabbous and Thierry Turletti.
I received a master of science degree in Ubiquitous Networking and Computing from Polytech Nice Sophia (UCA). I also have an engineering degree in Mobile and web technologies engineering from the Institut National des Postes et Télecommunications (Morrocco). I am currently working on geolocation assessment of mobile network performance. Our goal with the company YDATA is to produce a large scale accurate map of whole France giving the level the signal for all telecommunication operators. This is to help YDATA’s customers choose the best telco for them depending on their living area, the buildings surrounding them, the topology of their living area as well as the antennas in their vicinity. To achieve this, we use an accurate yet complex deterministic model called Ray Tracing. The focus is to reduce the complexity of Ray Tracing while maintaining its accuracy to use it in real life large scale and complex scenarios. To achieve this goal, I use tools from broad range of domains: telecommunications, optimization, Geographic Information Systems, Physics, Programming, Rendering, …
