Title

Knowledge Assessment in Adaptive Learning Environments

Abstract

Learning with a computer plays an essential role today. The year 2020 has demonstrated the importance of online learning systems which have achieved widespread usage due to the threat of COVID-19. However, it became a challenge to provide an accurate and psychologically meaningful assessment of the learner’s knowledge. It is essential for providing students with an adaptive learning experience in a cost-effective way. Artificial Intelligence assisted knowledge assessment methods have emerged from research laboratories to provide adaptive learning environments. This talk intends to cover the development of efficient knowledge assessment methods and interpretability in cognitive diagnosis for adaptive learning environments.
