Presentation

BOOST (Bio-informed Monitoring & Optimization for Enhanced Sport & Health) is an Inria project, in collaboration with the CIAMS (Complexité, innovation, activités motrices et sportives) laboratory at Université Paris-Saclay.

BOOST focuses on advancing research and innovation by developing cutting-edge mathematical models, control systems, estimation techniques, and signal analysis methods and algorithms to enhance bio-informed systems.

Applications of this project will span critical areas such as human health, movement assistance, sports performance, and overall well-being. Through multidisciplinary collaboration, BOOST aims to address pressing challenges and open new horizons in personalized health monitoring, rehabilitation, and performance optimization.

BOOST Vision:

Bridging neurophysiological sensing, signal processing, mathematical modeling, artificial intelligence, and control theory to enable personalized, real-time feedback strategies that enhance health, well-being, performance, and rehabilitation

Research Axes

  • Bio-informed signal processing: Develop advanced signal processing and machine learning methods to extract meaningful health indicators.
  • Modeling and Estimation for Human-Involved Systems: Model human-centered systems using physiological data to infer key internal states and unknown parameters through calibration and estimation techniques.
  • Biofeedback design: Design biofeedback systems to monitor health, optimize performance, and personalize training
