Gobbolino is a software for the enumeration of metabolic stories, which are maximal DAGs with a constrained set of sources and targets. The method was developed mainly for the analysis of metabolomics experimental data. The metabolites that had their concentrations measured are the candidates to be the sources and targets in each metabolic story, that will therefore give a possible explanation for the observed flow of matter.
