Abstract:

My work at INRIA is concerned with Change detection in Aerial as well as Satellite Images (both with large time differences) using Hierarchical Markov Random field model. The first part concerns the probability density function estimation via two features namely- HOG difference as well gray level difference computed over the two images with large time difference. The second part involves construction of a hierarchical markov random field over these features followed by the application of min cut / max flow algorithm for energy minimization. The final goal of my internship would be to classify these foreground / changes.
