The Ayin team at INRIA is delighted to host an international workshop on Stochastic Geometry and Big Data. The workshop will be held on November 24th, 2015 at INRIA Sophia Antipolis Méditerranée, France.

The workshop is open to the public and provides a great networking opportunity for individuals involved or interested in stochastic geometry and big data analysis with applications in computer vision and image processing. The workshop focuses on point processes, spatial stochastic fields, Bayesian theory and data mining methods applied to curvilinear structure reconstruction, multiple target tracking, change detection or image segmentation and classification.

The workshop will be held in between the Ph.D. thesis defense of Seong-Gyun Jeong on Curvilinear structure modeling and its applications in computer vision which will take place on November 23rd 2015 at 14:30 in room Amphithéâtre Morgenstern and the Ph.D. thesis defense of Paula Craciun on Stochastic geometry for automatic object detection and tracking in remotely sensed image sequences scheduled on November 25th 2015 at 10:30 in room Euler Violet. All participants to the workshop are kindly invited to attend these two events complementary to the workshop.

Due to the recent events in Paris, for security reasons all participants should enter through the main entrance to obtain a mandatory visitor badge. A security check will be performed on site. Only registered participants and INRIA employees will be able to attend the workshop.

We hope you will join us on November 24th in the room Euler violet .
