On how to classify Goursat Structures.

Goursat structures are non-holonomic plane fields that generalize the canonical Cartan structures (or contact structures) in Jk(R,Rn).
F. Jean and, recently, W. Respondek, have shown Goursat structures have mundane representations as mechanical systems.
We will discuss the close relation between Goursat structures and space curve singularities (à la Arnol’d-Mather-Thom).
Some explicit results will be provided
