We develop new Bayesian tools for modeling data coming from different dating methods (14C, OSL, archaeomagnetism ..) and from archaeological and environmental contexts.
Our work is structured along the following axes:
- modeling of an archaeological event that reflects the concept of contemporaneity,
- estimation of chronologies
- age model for the luminescence dating.
All these statistical tools are implemented in the cross-platform ChronoModel application, which is free, open source software (FOSS).
This work is done in collaboration with Institut de recherche sur les Archéomatériaux-Centre de recherche en physique appliquée à l’archéologie (Université de Bordeaux Montaigne)
