Collaboration history

VIGG and AMIB have started a long term collaboration in 2000 that was supported by Lyapunov Institute, two EcoNet grants involving Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan, two INTAS grants. They were joined in an associate team MIGEC (2007-2009).

This collaboration included may student exchanges or internships, and two coadvised thesis (V. Boeva, now with Curie Institute; E. Furletova : defence in April 2012). Recent exchanges of researchers include a one year stay of M. Nikolski (MAGNOME and CNRS) at Poncelet in 2010, one month at LIX (Digiteo support; 2010) and three months at LABRI (CNRS support; 2011) for V. Makeev. With M. Gelfand, V. Makeev and M. Régnier participated to the creation of biennal conference MCCMB in 2003 (with an initial support from ERCIM). In 2011,MCCMB was supported by Indian and German grants. With M. Roytberg, they organized a workshop series : Albio’06, Albio’07 and AlBio’08 (held at Poncelet). During French-Russian year (2010), they co-organized Bioinformatics after NextGeneration Sequencing that involved participants from five Inria teams and from CNRS, INRA, INSERM and Curie Institute.
