Short bio

Pardeep Kumar is an accomplished scholar with a diverse educational journey that has shaped his expertise in interdisciplinary fields. His academic pursuits began with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Hamdard University Karachi in 2014, followed by a Master’s in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Control and Automation in 2016. Building upon these foundational pillars, Pardeep attained a Ph.D. in Automatique from Université Bourgogne Franche Comte in 2021, delving deep into the intricacies of path planning algorithms at micro-scales for 3-D manipulation of micro-objects. Subsequently, He further enriched his research trajectory through a postdoctoral position on the ANR Prog4Yu Project with MARVIN – AI and Robotics Team at LIG Lab, Université Grenoble Alpes. This role enabled him to blend theoretical knowledge with practical applications, fostering innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation. Currently, he is involved on EU AgrifoodTEF project with ACENTAURI – INRIA as a robotics software engineer.

Research Interests

His current research interest are motion planning, perception, navigation and trajectory generation for autonomous mobile robots.
