Ayan BaruiPhD studentShort bioAyan Barui graduated in Physics from Central University of Haryana in 2023. Having an aspiration to become a part of the quantum computing research, he did his master’s thesis from Indian Institute of Science research and Education Kolkata (IISER Kolkata) on processing images with the help of quantum algorithms under the supervision of Prof Prasanta K. Panigrahi. He has been working as a Research Project Fellow after his graduation at IISER Kolkata where he was a part of multiple projects and helped organise an international conference on Quantum Information and Quantum Computing. He has also presented one of his works at the COSMNETS conference 2024, held in Bangalore, India. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Inria, ACENTAURI team under the supervision of Prof Ezio Malis and Prof Philippe Martinet on the topic of “Quantum algorithms for vision-based robot localization”. Research InterestsHis research interests lie in designing and implementing efficient quantum algorithms and their application to appropriate problems that would be fit for future quantum computers. |
