Return to Odin

Odin Presentation

Odin is discomposed en 3 layers which communicate using CORBA as presented by the following schema:

The device layer contains all the bridges of communication with the sensors and actuators.
Odin layer does all the work of storage and export of data, algorithms, …
Finally, the UI layer is used to display curves, to calibrate and to modify some parameters of controllers.

you can explore in more detail these 3 layers or return to the previous menu.

Devices

To connect sensors and actuators to Odin, it is necessary to use an intermediate layer. We have developed gateways to connect to many analog and digital converters. New gateways can be added if needed by ours partnerships. Here is the list of devices currently supported by Odin:   Leroy Automation : Alto, Tes National Instrument …

Supervisor

Supervisor layer is the core of Odin. It is here that are performed queries to the different devices to retrieve the values of the sensors, data logging, calculation of observers and controllers, sending instructions to the devices and the information on the display .. . Data: By default, raw data (date and value) is recorded …

User Interface

Odin offers a rich GUI that allows many actions: graph visualization, synoptic (instantaneous sensor values), as well as more advanced option as a logbook errors, sensors calibration, setting some parameters of controllers and their activation/deactivation. Graphes : Viewable from 1 to 4 at the same time, with 6 curves for each, you can configure as …
